BioSpot has developed a number of revolutionary DNA sample collections devices - BioDisk, VibraSwab and SwabGrips. BSD Robotics is committed to working with BioSpot in the development of seamless, efficient and fully automatable systems for DNA samples and has created automated instruments to process BioSpot's revolutionary DNA sample collection devices.
PerkinElmer LifeSciences
BSD Robotics has continued to maintain and develop our strategic alliance with PerkinElmer LifeSciences, which is the dominant supplier of newborn screening products worldwide. PerkinElmer LifeSciences has an agreement with BSD Robotics to exclusively market the BSD300 and BSD500 into neonatal screening laboratories on an OEM basis worldwide.
Roche Diagnostics
BSD Robotics has recently entered into a distribution agreement with Roche Diagnostics to distribute BSD600 and BSD1000 into Africa. BSD Robotics, together with Roche, has successfully adapted BSD Robotics products with Roche products for HIV screening applications. This emerging market in Africa is growing and has secured placements of BSD Robotics products in more than ten government sites since April 2006.
Whatman BioSciences
Whatman is the UK-based worldwide industry leader in paper technology with its proprietary FTA technology for DNA collection/storage. BSD Robotics currently has a BSD600 sales agency agreement with Whatman.
